We are looking to recruit a Telesales & Customer Service Executive to join our team.

This is a broad and dynamic fast-paced role with the primary responsibility of efficient and accurate order capture and fulfillment from both existing and new customers via phone, online, and in our taproom/shop.

Role: Telephone & Customer Service Executive

Status: Recruiting Now

Location: Hadnall Brewery site

Reporting to: Office Manager

Hours of Work: 8am – 4.30pm Monday – Friday, ex Thursday 9.30am – 6pm.

Main Purpose of Role:

  • The Voice of Salopian  to prospective and existing customers – sharing our passion and energy for beer
  • Order capture and upselling of our range from outgoing and incoming calls
  • Updating of customer database and identifying opportunities
  • Back-office administration including processing of invoices & payment
  • Fulfillment of online orders and customer click and collect
  • Serving customers in Brewery shop and maintaining the environment

Person Specification:

  • Comfortable in fast paced environment and able to multi-task and prioritise accordingly
  • Strong organisational skills with ability to deliver callage each day, generating interest and closing sales
  • Passion for customer service and building relationships
  • Have a great telephone presence
  • Strong listening and presentation skills, with a ‘can do’ attitude
  • Analytical, confident team player, with keen eye for detail

Job specification requirements:

  • Experience of working to tight deadlines
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Proficient in using Microsoft software (Word, Excel & Outlook)
  • Working with numbers and ability to learn commercial/industry related terms
  • Industry related experience an advantage
  • Must have a driving licence

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high standards of customer service, taking and inputting orders efficiently and accurately
  • To have a clear and personable telephone manner
  • Take ownership of solving customer issues through pro-active customer service.
  • Maintenance of customer records and identifying lapsed or lost stockists or potential opportunities
  • To build strong relationships with field sales team, supporting them with new and existing business and their administration needs
  • Building relationships with regular customers and being a regular point of contact
  • Back-office and general administration duties including, filing, processing orders etc.
  • Fulfillment of online shop orders via daily courier collection or through customer click and collect at the brewery and point of contact for any issues

We are looking to recruit a 7.5t driver with CPC and C1 licence to join our team.

This is a broad role with the primary responsibility of making efficient and accurate multi drop deliveries to a range of customers across the region. Alongside this, are duties at the brewery including picking and preparation of deliveries, cask preparation, and supporting with the day-to-day upkeep of the brewery environment. A clean driving licence is a must, along with a C1 licence with CPC. A forklift certificate of competence would also be advantageous.

Role: C1 Distribution Driver

Status: Active

Location: Hadnall Brewery site with deliveries to customers across the region

Reporting to: Distribution Team Leader

Hours of Work: 8am – 4.30pm Monday – Friday. Occasional bank holidays may be required.

Main Purpose of Role:

  • 5 tonne Multi-Drop deliveries of cask, keg and small pack beers to variety of outlets across the region
  • Collecting empty casks from customers
  • Loading and unloading of vehicles – manually & using FLT
  • Picking orders for deliveries, individually and as part of a team
  • Promoting a professional image of our company to customers

Person Specification:

  • Must be over 25 years of age for insurance purposes
  • Have a clean, full UK driving licence held for over 5 years
  • Provide proof that they have the right to work in the UK
  • An interest in beer is preferable, but not essential as long as you are keen to learn.
  • Must be flexible with working hours due to the nature of the industry
  • As the public face of the brewery, it’s essential you have positive attitude, great people skills, are well organised and with an attention to detail
  • A team player but also able to work independently

We are looking to recruit a Warehouse and Brewery Operative to join our team.

This is a cross functional position working across the brewery, warehouse and distribution departments of the brewery. The role’s primary responsibility is ownership of the brewery environment and site and ensuring stock in and out is picked, stored and distributed in a safe, accurate, and efficient manner. This is alongside providing support as needed to the brewery and distribution teams in packaging, cask preparation and deliveries to outlets. A clean driving licence is a must, along with a forklift certificate of competence.

  • Loading and unloading of vehicles – manually & using FLT
  • Picking orders for deliveries, individually and as part of a team
  • Supporting brewery team with packaging of our beers in cask, keg and small pack
  • Assisting with deliveries to our customers as required
  • Promoting a professional image of our company to customers
